Ergo Proxy

Set in a futuristic world, Ergo Proxy begins in a domed city called Romdeau where humans and robots, AutoReivs, live together in perfectly maintained order. However, a virus is spreading among machines and in the course of investigating this virus, Inspector Re-l Mayer uncovers the threads of a larger mystery to the tune of secret experiments and powerful beings called Proxies. The mysteries of these Proxies compelling her, Re-l leaves the safety of the domed city in search of truth.

Ergo Proxy was produced by studio Manglobe and spans twenty-three episodes. It ran from February 2006 to August of the same year and has been released outside of Japan in its entirety on DVD.

Raul Creed

Raul Creed is the Director-General of the Citizen Security Bureau for the city of Romdeau. Though newly appointed, he is well-versed in his work and devoted to maintaining order. Savvy and ambitious, Raul tries to play it one step ahead of everyone around him. Unfortunately, after rebelling against a system he finds inadequate, this little trait leads to him becoming great friends with a shard of glass. That's anime for you.
